Interested parties are invited to submit structured abstracts of no more than 400 words (up to 2,500 characters, including spaces). All submissions will be peer-reviewed and may consist of proposals for the formats listed: individual presentation, workshop, demonstration, masterclass, roundtable, performance, and call for scores.

Individual Presentations

The total length of each submission must not exceed 400 words (up to 2,500 characters, including spaces). The main text must be structured with the following headings:

  • Background

  • Aim

  • Methodology

  • Results or expected results

  • Discussion and conclusion

  • References

  • Topic area(s)/Keywords (up to 5)

Also, the presenter must indicate on the registration form:

  • Title

  • Presenter information (name, e-mail, affiliation and country of residence) 

  • Intended attendance mode of the presenter (onsite/online)

Workshops, Demonstrations, and Masterclass (Half/Full)

Workshop, demonstration, and masterclass organizers must submit a 400-word proposal (up to 2500 characters, including spaces) containing background and aims, description of activities or demonstrations, and relevance to the symposium. In addition:

  • Title

  • Organizer name(s) (maximum 3) and affiliations (if any) 

  • Keywords (up to 5)

  • A tentative plan of 25 and/or 50 minute session

Only proposals for onsite workshops, demonstrations, or masterclasses will be considered.

Roundtable

Roundtable organizers must submit a proposal (up to 2,500 characters, including spaces) and the following information:

  • Title

  • List of participants and presenters individual abstracts (up to 2,000 characters, including spaces): 

    • Organizer: the organizer of the symposium, coordinator can also be presenters 

    • Presenters: individuals who will contribute to the discussion (up to 4)

  • Intended attendance mode (onsite/ online)

  • Keywords (up to 5)

Each participant must individually register for the symposium. Please ensure that at least half of the presenters involved in the (especially the organizer) will be physically present onsite.

Performance (Symposium/Concert)

Performance organizers must submit a proposal of no more than 400 words (up to 2500 characters, including spaces) containing the following information:

  • Title

  • Performer name(s) (maximum 8) and affiliations (if any) 

  • Keywords (up to 5)

  • A tentative programme for 15 and/or 25 minute session

You will be able to indicate the preferred presentation format (Symposium or Concert) during the submission process. However, we cannot guarantee that all submissions will be accepted in their preferred format. Please anticipate that your performance may be allocated to either of the two formats.
